Eleni V Oil Spill

On 6 May 1978 A Norwegian oil tanker, Eleni V, collided with a merchant ship off Lowestoft and sank, spilling 5,000 tons of oil, with disastrous consequences for wildlife and beaches in Norfolk and Suffolk. This half-hour documentary was in Anglia’s ‘Probe Special’ series.
