Footage of Southend Pier and Museum

The opening shots show a family entering the pier. There is a shot of the board advertising admission prices. People pay and enter. There is a shot of one of the pier trains and a shot out towards the sea showing the length of the pier. There are further pier scenes. A Punch and Judy man entertains children and there are exterior shots of the pier shop. At the halt, people board the pier train. The second film opens with a shot of the board warning of electricity. There are interior shots of the pier railway museum showing the older trains and railway machinery and memorabilia. A man works on the tracks. People are filmed looking at the attractions. The film ends with a shot of two children watching a video on the pier railway.
