Film describing the excavation work performed on a long-lost Roman villa at Lullingstone in Kent, including illustrations and models of the building, based on the discoveries made during the excavation. There are shots of: unidentified individuals involved in excavation work; parts of the structure uncovered during the excavation, including the remains of the bath block, an arch, which formed part of the main flue in the heating system, the steps leading to the original Watergate entrance, the mosaic floor in the living/ banqueting area, small artefacts and skeletons found onsite or behind the building.
