Aerials views of Cromer pier, seafront and town, and interior shots of the parish church, followed by dramatic scenes from the film “Gale Warning” of lifeboat crew members enacting the drill performed upon hearing the signal for an emergency. Dick Joice continues, introducing the documentary about the life and legacy of Henry Blogg, Coxswain of the Cromer Lifeboat, featuring interviews with the lifeboat crew and family members who knew him, discussing the man, his ancestors and the work of the lifeboat crews over the years. Archive photo stills show Cromer seafront in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Documentary footage highlights some of the most dangerous and momentous sea rescues led by Henry Blogg or his successor Coxswain, nephew "Shrimp" Davies.
