Reporter Malcolm Allsop talks to traders and young women about the traditions of buying mistletoe

Malcolm Allsop talks to three different market traders who sell mistletoe about who buys it and what they do with it. They agree that the girls buy a big bunch and the boys generally do not want to be seen with it. They say it sells very well, and that the more berries on it the more kisses a person gets. The mood is light and jovial. Allsop takes a large bunch and goes to find out if girls on the street buy it and what meaning it has for them. He ends the report saying that mistletoe is as popular today as it ever was, then continues to walk down the street.
