Exterior and interior views of St Withburga Church – standing within Holkham Hall Estate, prior to guests arriving for the wedding of the daughter of the Earl of Leicester to Mr Bryan Basset. Inside, the church is decorated with carnations and lilies. Members of the public stand and watch as guests arrive. The Estate’s head gamekeeper chats with a police officer and members of the public wave and applaud the arrival of the Queen Mother, who passes by in a car, followed by the bride accompanied by her father, the Earl of Leicester. The bride and bridegroom leave the church, posing briefly for photographers and well-wishers, followed by the young bridesmaids and pageboys, and then the Queen Mother. A helicopter takes off from the Estate, and well-wishers wave.
