Views of starting stalls to be introduced for horse races at Newmarket.

Scenes filmed on the first day of the July horse race meeting at Newmarket. Horses are paraded in front of the crowd. Scenes of a race in progress. On an empty racecourse, this Anglia Television news story shows two long metal frameworks on wheels which are the starting stalls to be introduced shortly on 8 July 1965. The numbers on the stalls are filmed, and the gates closed and then open.
