Anglia Television news report following concern from conservationists for wildlife and the Broads environment.

David Henshaw for Anglia Television, reports from Hickling Broad where a chorus of birds are heard, meanwhile sailboats drift along the scenic waterway. It is not immediately apparent that there need be any concern for the local wildlife. However, conservationists are worried that the bird life, insects and plant life that at one time would inhabit the Broads, no longer flourish. On a boat on the water David Henshaw speaks to conservationist Mr Stephens of the Norfolk Naturalists Trust who argues that the Broads environ is changing at an alarming rate threatening the whole character of the Broadland. Moving to dry land, David Henshaw speaks to Jimmy Hoseason of Hoseasons Holidays. Mr Hoseason argues that claims made by scientists are an exaggeration. Returning to the Broad and Mr Stephens claims that holidaying on the Broads may become quite unpleasant if action is not taken.
