Junior doctors picket outside the hospital

A car stops outside Stoke Mandeville Hospital as junior doctors dressed in hospital coats stand in a group at the entrance in protest. A man with a camera aims it into the car. Close up of hospital sign with direction to main wards. Pan to the group of young doctors. A truck arrives and one of the doctors talks to the driver. Interview with one of the doctors, who says that they have decided a 24 hour total strike by junior doctors is necessary to demonstrate their dissatisfaction and how strongly they feel. Judy asks if he feels they have made their point over the last two weeks already, he replies that he does not think they have made their point at all. The new contract has been withdrawn but they feel any improvements would be minimal. Views of a car on the street. The camera follows a man walking down a corridor, who is then interviewed. He states his impression that most consultants have sympathy with the junior staff.
