Anglia TV report from the Quarter-finals of the Gillette Cup cricket match between Lancashire and Essex at the County Ground in Chelmsford. Following highlights of the match, the Anglia TV sports reporter chats to Lancashire and England cricketer David “Bumble” Lloyd about the introduction of a new headguard. David Lloyd shows us a new headguard that is being used in lacrosse games, which is very similar to the head protection that will be introduced for cricket fielding. He thinks the headgear looks a bit silly, nevertheless following fellow cricketer Roger Davis taking a hit in recent weeks he thinks perhaps it’s still a good idea.
