Close up of handwritten 'lost cats' sign on tree. Camera pans across to Georgian mansion surrounded by foliage. Cats are sat in windows. Camera follows Millicent Clara Rogers. She feeds strips of meat to a rook. Millicent is shown going about her daily activities with her helpers. Interview with Millicent as she sits in armchair stroking a cat. She explains how she is getting on in age, and how after asking for help from animal societies she chose the Cats Protection League of Slough, who helped tremendously with funding. After falling on bad times themselves, they can no longer help her. She boasts that besides a lion she has never turned an animal away. Views of cats being fed. The interview continues, and the interviewer asks her where she gets the money from, and she states that she has until lately always been self-sufficient. She discusses her aim to look after the cats until her death, and hopes for help from donations. She explains that she has sold all that she can. Scenes of old family photographs and paintings, interspersed with cats sat around the room.
