Tony details the trends of the year’s motor show, in terms of car models, their features and value, and continues throughout the report with commentary on the features and designs of a variety of vehicles, intercut by footage of the stands and visitors at the event. Dick Joice asks his wife’s opinion on the features of the Triumph model. Kenyan Prime Minister Mr Jomo Kenyatta, actors Margaret and Julia Lockwood, and British racing driver Stirling Moss are the notable personalities shown to be at the event. Pat, a German model, demonstrates the features of a Mercedes Benz vehicle for Dick Joice. The particular features of various cars are shown, intercut with commentary by Tony Brooks on particular design features of a Rover 2000, a Mini, and an NSU Spider. Dick Joice and Tony Brooks sum up the day’s event accompanied by a model in mermaid costume, advertising a French make of car.
