She says that she had a very good job but had to choose between her job and her child and so she chose her child. She knew that she would have nowhere to live and that there were abnormalities in the child, but she didn’t want an abortion and so would do everything she could to raise the child by herself. When asked, she says that she’s never regretted that decision. She explains how her relationship with her parents broke down and so she had to leave home. Interview with Dr Lambert who states that the two basic choices for women are either to keep the child or to have an abortion and that most come to her in a maze of thoughts. She tries to lead them through the maze to make a decision. ‘Life’ offers women the care and time to retreat from the pressures other people are putting upon them to have an abortion.
