At RAF Wattisham, air servicemen wearing full ceremonial uniform, stand on parade, awaiting the arrival of King Hussein of Jordan. The royal car arrives, and the King steps out, onto a low platform to salute the British troops. Accompanied by senior officers, King Hussein performs a ceremonial inspection of the air servicemen. Newman Sanders interviews the King, asking about his current state of health following a recent illness; the King’s wife Princess Muna al-Hussein; and finally, asking about the purpose of the King’s visit to Suffolk.

Princess Muna al-Hussein (British-born Antoinette Avril Gardiner – renamed Muna al-Hussein upon marriage) was the second wife of King Hussein of Jordan. They were married in May 1961.
