Hasib Zia, chairman of the Luton Islamic Society, accuses the police force in Luton of being racially biased, in an interview for About Anglia.
In an interview with Owen Spencer Thomas for About Anglia, Hasib Zia, chairman of the Luton Islamic Society, accuses police in Luton of being racially biased. He claims that there was violence in Luton between Asian youths and white youths, but that it was only the Asian youths who were arrested. He also alleges that this was not an isolated incident. The reporter mentions that Zia had called on the police to take action on this, and that one of the members of Zia’s Islamic Society had threatened to fight ‘violence with violence’.
