An Anglia Television report on a film production underway at Holkham.

The clapperboard shuts as a film crew begins another take, on location in Norfolk for John Sturges' film adaptation of the Jack Higgins novel, 'The Eagle Has Landed', which tells of a Nazi plot to capture Winston Churchill. Camera operator James Bawden completes a short shot of a horse and rider charging through Norfolk woodland, and Anglia correspondent Peter Barsby interviews John Sturges. The American film director talks about Higgins' book, the plot of the film and it's many star players, as well as the reason for filming in Norfolk and the importance of the film to the British industry. The item concludes with further shots of the production team at work, before a helicopter takes to the skies, allowing the camera crew to capture aerial views.
