Angelia Television films Morris dancers dancing through Norfolk in a re-enactment of the legendary William Kemp who danced from London to Norwich.

Morris dancers come down the country lane dancing and playing the accordion. Bells can be heard in addition to the music. A sign saying ‘Norwich 9 miles’ is shown. Morris dancers continue to dance along the path, while one member plays the violin. Close ups of the dancers feet and legs show the bells around their ankles which jingle as they dance. Reporter Greg Barnes interviews Morris dancer Jonathan Hooton who says that they are doing this for fun. He mentions the legendary William Kemp who danced from London to Norwich after he got fired from The Shakespeare Company and so wanted publicity. The Morris dancers continue dancing along the road. A sign saying ‘Bawburgh and Costessy’ is shown and the scroll is then handed over between two dancers. The Norwich Catholic Cathedral is shown as dancers come over a footbridge while pipes and drums are being played. A Morris dancer jumps over the wall while the crowd, many wearing costumes, cheer and clap. Dave Robertson, Squire of the Norwich Men, is interviewed. He talks about the legend of William Kemp not being able to get through because of the crowd and so having to leap over the wall. A scroll is held up by the Mayor of Norwich and a Morris dancer. The Morris dancers continue to dance surrounded by a crowd of people.
