Interviews with various members of the Cobbold family, who Chair Ipswich Town Football Club
Steve Rider reports from Glemham Hall, a Grade I listed building in Suffolk and the family home of the Cobbolds who Chair Ipswich Town Football Club. Captain Ivan Cobbold's widow Lady Blanche Cobbold explains the history of the club from its inception 45 years earlier, when he was persuaded from racing to professional football after an Arsenal match. John Cobbold discusses the first manager of the club. Manager, Bobby Robson, is given a large bottle of Bell's Whisky after a match. Rider reports on the importance of loyalty at the club. Patrick Cobbold supports this idea in the interview, suggesting directors ought to support one team. The Cobbolds do not have a great knowledge of football, but entertain the club and its fans. Jasper Carrott jokes about the 'loony soup' that they drink. John Cobbold feeds carrots to the donkeys. Rider comments that the attitude is "do it for fun".
