Anglia Television celebrate the 1978 F.A.Cup Final win with Ipswich Town F.C. players.

Team members of Ipswich Town Football Club celebrate their F.A. Cup Final win against Arsenal earlier in the year at Anglia Television headquarters. Ipswich team captain Mick Mills, Manager Bobby Robson and other players and guests congregate in groups, chat and drink. Manager Bobby Robson and new team player Arnold Muhren are interviewed, both referring to two important League Cup matches, the first against Liverpool played only two days ago, the second against Manchester United, their next match in two days time. Dutch national and new Ipswich player Muhren comments on his performance at the Liverpool match - intercut by footage highlights of the Liverpool-Ipswich game - and says he is confident he will fit in at Ipswich Town F.C.

The 1977-78 FA Cup Final was held at Wembley Stadium on 6 May 1978. Ipswich Town played against Arsenal, with Roger Osborne scoring the winning (and only) goal for Ipswich. Ipswich Town F.C. celebrate their F.A. Cup win at Anglia Television on Thursday 24th August. As part of the Football League Season 1978-79, Ipswich Town F.C. played against Liverpool on 22 August 1978 at Portman Road, resulting in a 3-0 defeat for Ipswich. The following week, on 26th August 1978 Ipswich Town played against Manchester United and won by 3 goals to nil. Bobby Robson managed Ipswich Town from 13 January 1969 to 18 August 1982.
