The famous racehorse Red Rum arrives home to a cheerful greeting from fans

A banner saying "Super Red is King of Aintree" is hung against the upper window of a shop. The trailer containing the horse arrives, and Red Rum is led out in a striped blanket, bridle and reins to a crowd that reaches out to pat and stroke him. He is led into the stable, and back out again to greet the waving crowd behind the gates.
