International speedway rider Michael Lee arrives at a Speedway venue by car towing his bike in a trailer that is emblazoned with the sports personality’s name. Anglia Television sports reporter Steve Rider interviews professional motorcyclist Michael Lee, discussing a previous Speedway race and subsequent disagreement about not attending, his participation at future Speedway events, and asking how keen he is to hold the title of Britain’s No. 1 for the sport and take the British League trophy and ‘Golden Helmet’. Two competing cyclists negotiate the Speedway circuit, joining to shake hands following the final lap, to the applause of the crowd. Interview with Manchester-born Speedway rider Peter Collins, discussing the demands of the sport, the hectic training schedule and time-consuming and tiring long-distance travel to events.
