At St. James' Church in Great Yarmouth, a full congregation attends the annual service for the entertainment stars of the seaside town's summer shows. English entertainers Bob Monkhouse and Tommy Steele, in turn, address the congregation, each reading a lesson from the service. There follows a hymn, led by a full live conducted orchestra. Shots of the congregation singing, including the attending Mayor of Great Yarmouth, and comedian Frankie Howard. Outside the church, fans congregate to catch a glimpse of the stars - Tommy Steele, Bob Monkhouse, and Bruce Forsyth - as they leave the church. Bob Monkhouse signs autographs.
