A busy pub and a grounded boat following a night of flooding

Around Cley and Salthouse, choppy water surrounding a road sign for Kings Lynn and Cromer show the extent of the flooding in the region. Ducks bob on the choppy sea. Workmen pile heaps of debris leftover from the flood in a large pile in the middle of the road, with a digger helping. An rowboat lies upturned down a side street. Several boats have run aground along the seafront, including a much larger shipping vessel called Function at Wells. Close-up of pub sign for the King's Arms at Blakeney. Paul Barnes interviews pub owner Howard Dennis who explains the extent of the damage, and what he saw as the flooding damaged his premises. Regardless, he kept the pub open throughout the evening, giving out beer through the kitchen window and receiving help from people to clear up afterwards. At Wells, Terry Uden, master of the ship Function, is then interviewed about his experience and the worries of capsizing. The camera pans to show the debris in the water.
