Anglia Television news coverage of the preparations made along The Mall for the royal wedding to be televised.

Along The Mall, in central London, crowds of spectators line the street - the ceremonial route on the wedding day of Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret to photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones. An Anglia Television Outside Broadcast Unit truck passes by amongst the busy traffic. An employee gives the thumbs up from the vehicle window. At the site, equipment is unloaded from the truck and TV cameras are set up ready to capture the event – the first televised royal wedding. Against the backdrop of Admiralty Arch, a cherry picker is used to set up equipment at a high angle. A row of flags feature the royal couple’s personal insignia. A mix of public spectators and broadcasting crew is seen against the backdrop of Buckingham Palace.
