Scenes of clear-up operation after accidental spillage of concentrated sugar syrup from Bury St Edmunds sugar factory.

Brief scenes without commentary, just a little actuality sound. View of the British Sugar factory at Bury St Edmunds from the nearby roundabout, and chimneys emitting steam or smoke. At the River Lark, people are gathering dead fish on the riverbank. On another stretch of river a net is being laid across the waterway. An area of water is cordoned off with sandbags and other barriers. This short video was made to be shown in a news story on Anglia Television early evening news / magazine programme About Anglia.
