A glimpse of activities and displays about Indian culture.

Brief scenes with actuality sound but no commentary showing people taking part in a Festival of India held at the Key Theatre, Peterborough. The event aims to help improve community relations in the area by demonstrating aspects of Indian culture for a multi racial audience. Inside the hall, people look at displays of crafts and artworks, statues, costumes, textiles and food. Women display costumes and sing as they take part in a Hindu religious ceremony involving a lighted candle. The reporter was Greg Barnes for this video made to be shown in a news story on Anglia Television early evening news / magazine programme About Anglia.
