Opening press event for multi-screen cinema The Point.
On press day ahead of the opening of The Point, Milton Keynes, Anglia TV reporter Tony Adams tours the distinctive pyramid-shaped cinema building. Besides ten cinema screens it offers bars, a brasserie, disco dancing area, bingo, and of course popcorn. Film producer David Puttnam is enthusiastic about the opportunity offered by The Point. He feels this is the last chance for the British film industry to be part of UK entertainment, raising questions about our society and what we really want. This video was filmed to be shown in a news story on Anglia Television early evening news / magazine programme 'About Anglia'.
