Children say teachers’ strike is damaging their education.
Four un-named school children in uniform sit on a sofa to be interviewed. They are pupils of Higham Ferrers Comprehensive School, Northamptonshire and they are staging a short strike in protest at the disruption of their lessons due to the teachers’ strike. A girl and boy explain their concern that the interruption of their lessons and being sent home from school during the day is affecting their quality of education and future exam performance. The girl says the teachers have always told them to speak up for themselves and express their opinions and feelings. The reporter was Greg Barnes for this video made to be shown in a news story on Anglia Television early evening news / magazine programme About Anglia.
