Amateur footage of a day at the races and friends and family enjoying a day out together.
Crowds of people gather in a field, some holding flags, in preparation for a parade. An overlooking shot of a marching band parading down the street, men following in suits. A vehicle passes by with a banner that reads "Disabled". It is now raining and many people are carrying umbrellas. Jockeys prepare for their race. Crowds of people watch the horse race. The winning jockey is given his trophy and he poses for photographs. One cameraman turns the handle of a cine camera. The next scene is a male athletic racing competition. Two men go neck to neck for first place but one falls just as he reaches the finish line. Next is the egg and spoon race, the junior and senior high jump. The next scene shows two couples playing in tennis in a private tennis court. Other ladies sit in sun beds and chat amongst themselves. The children play around them. There are individual close ups of each of the women, all smiling. A man and lady dance together in the garden. Next is a boat trip with some beautiful shots of sailing down the river. They stop on a river bank to play some golf. They all have a picnic and are laughing and playful together. Three ladies go for a walk together while a couple playfight in the field. They join the ladies for a chat and all go walking together. There individual close up shots of them as they smile and laugh for the camera. They play some more golf. The next scene is of a swimming pool and a game of water polo is played. Men in suits watch from the side.
