The introduction of decimalised currency to shops in Wroxham.
Newly-printed money bags and freshly minted coins in the cashiers room introduce the film examining the introduction of decimalised currency into stores in Wroxham, Norfolk. In a window display, handbags carry dual pricing, followed by a brief shot of a busy Woolworths store. As cashiers get to grips with counting the new money, shelves in the store also carry the dual-pricing system, with checkout girls required to operate two separate registers. TEST.
