Brief scenes of fancy dress and floats at Aldeburgh Carnival.
A short film of children and teenagers in fancy dress at Aldeburgh Regatta and Carnival on a sunny day. They are dressed as flowers and a bee; the characters from The Magic Roundabout including Florence, Zebedee and Mr Rusty with a model Dougal covered in straw; a boy puppet with strings; Mary Mary Quite Contrary, How Does Your Garden Grow sitting in a car with floral bonnets and gardening implements; The Sound of Music on a floral float, wearing lederhosen and other 'tracht' clothing and playing accordions. Women in Bavarian dress are collecting donations. A carnival figure in a sheet carries a placard reading ‘I tried to park but died of starvation’. Girls with helmets and tridents and a Britannia shield are accompanied by a bear in furry costume.
