Jam manufacture at Wilkin and Sons' factory.

The film begins with a pencil drawing of a windmill, followed by shots of the fruit pickers at work. There is a close-up shot of a woman picking strawberries. There are exterior views of the factory and a forklift truck carries boxes of fruit to the conveyor. A man empties and stacks crates. Interior scenes show women workers preparing the fruit. There are many shots of the jam making process. Jars are filled, tops put on and the jars are labelled. Mini jars are labelled as 'Strawberry Preserve' and larger jars as 'Little Scarlet Strawberry Conserve.' There is a shot of the jars stacked and the final shot shows them being loaded into lorries.
