Summer activities filmed by Mrs. Gay

The first sequence is devoted to children's activities. They are filmed running across grass. There are shots of a school sports day including a girls' long jump competition and hurdles race. There is a brief shot of children in a boat on a river before a lengthy sequence showing riding lessons.The second sequence is devoted to ladies' activities. There are scenes of a sewing circle taking place in a garden. Tea is prepared on a table nearby. There are shots of a ladies' bowls match. The ladies are in ordinary summer dress, not wearing a club uniform or whites. The final scenes are of a knitting circle. This meets in a house.
