Town and beach scenes in Lowestoft and Oulton Broad
This film opens showing a long shot of the beach and sea front. The Pier/jetty is in the background to the left of the picture. There are shots of the town centre showing buses, motor cars and people riding bicycles before a brief shot of the Palace Cinema, where Alice Faye was appearing in Tail Spin. There is a high angle shot of the beach and then a shot showing people in the sea. The tide is in as far as the sea wall. The camera shoots back towards the town, showing sea front hotels and beach huts. The next shots are from Oulton Broad. They show motor cruisers on the river and then sailing scenes. A shot from park shows an open air set with chairs set out waiting for a performance. There is a shot of a deserted beach, showing the tide out. The camera pans along the sea front. The final shot shows the steamer Royal Sovereign.
