Scenes from a village in Exning, including local buildings and village fete.
Thie film opens with shots across the fields to the village and follows these with a static shot of the village sign. There are shots of the streets, showing few parked cars. There are shots taken from a moving bicycle. These show the village school, the Ernest and Webb factory, the White Swan public house, a village shop and the war memorial.There is a gathering outside a large, stone building and then the next scenes take place outside a large country house. People picnic in the grounds and playing petanque and mini golf. A small child rides a white horse. There are shots of a cricket match, showing the game and shots of the crowd.The next scenes are at a village fete. A man gives a speech and the vicar draws the raffle. Children play games and there are shots of people taking tea and cooking the bar-b-que. There is a shot of St. Martin's church and further shots of the village. These include film of a modern housing estate at St. Wendred's Way. Further scenes follow from the car, including Fuller's and Renes shops.
