A military tattoo parade in Colchester.

This film opens with shots of flags flying from buildings and crowds lining the streets. The Colchester Tattoo parade is filmed from a fixed camera point in a main shopping street in Colchester. It shows regiments marching, some led by drummers. Guns and army vehicles are displayed. There are more soldiers marching, some of who are on horseback. Bands march in the procession and there is a shot of a soldier on a camel. There are further shots of the parade, including a close up shot of a band. A woman passes a bucket along the crowd for a collection.
