Scenes of a trip along the River Colne.

The film begins in Colchester aboard a coaster. There is a shot of the river from the boat, a shot of the pilot and of a dog. The scenes that follow are shot from the moving coaster. There are shots of the port area of Colchester. Moving into the country, there are shots of the University of Essex from the boat as well as country scenes showing ducks on the river and children on the bank. There are shots of Wivenhoe, showing the town by the river and the boatyards. The film ends with shots of Brightlingsea.
