Amateur film showing scenes from a working day at Marriage's flour mill, Colchester.

The film begins at a farm in Tiptree with men loading sacks onto an elevator. They are unloaded and placed on a lorry that drives off. The next scenes are at the mill belonging to F. Marriage and Sons Ltd. There are exterior shots of the mill and one of running water, showing its origins as a water mill. Interior shots show machinery in motion and scenes from around the mill. The final scene is of a worker eating his lunch.
