Scenes from the 'scratch' (i.e. first class) three-mile race. All competitors are wearing proper kit, which was quite unusual for a local sports event at that time. There are shots of some race winners; two individuals and a foursome, that may be a relay team.There is a shot of the prizes and of the prize giving by Mrs. P.C. Low. There are also some shots of the crowd.
