A staff day out for the employees at Eaden Lilley.
The film opens with a shot of the warehouses of W. Eaden Lilley & Co. Ltd. There are shots of the shop front taken early in the morning when few people were around. There are a couple of cars parked and a person passes on a bicycle. There is a ladder up against the wall, suggesting that the windows were still being cleaned. The next shot shows a row of coaches with people in front of them. The camera pans along the line of Eaden Lilley employees. There is a mixture of men and women, young people and older people. Some of them wave to the camera. There is a shot of four men and then the drivers of the Varsity Coaches, dressing in white coats and hats, line up for the camera. The next scenes show blurred pictures of the coaches leaving Cambridge. At a stop along the way, the employees are filmed in a group smiling and waving to the camera. In another blurred sequence the coaches move off and resume their journey.
