Road safety film for children.

The opening sequence shows busy traffic at a roundabout and cars on a main road through a suburban area. Children are filmed at a pedestrian crossing and then helping younger children. This sequence, along with the final sequence, is accompanied by a song by Noel Gay, emphasising that roads are dangerous and to take care. You've all heard the tale Of the tortoise and the hare, The tortoise took his time But he got there! The second sequence shows further shots of roads in the town centre and in suburbs. Two boys in a suburban street demonstrate the Kerb Drill. Look right, look left, look right again. The film emphasises that older children must watch younger children. The final sequence is a cartoon showing the tortoise and the hare. The tortoise takes his time whilst the hare gets squashed.
