A home movie of a holiday in Sheringham beginning and ending with a train journey.

Views from a railway carriage window of a station, railway line and trains. A mother and child are in the carriage. The train arrives at Sheringham Station. There are scenes of the family on the beach and playing in the sea. The rowing lifeboat is launched. Boats take part in a regatta. The family paddle and make sand castles. People come out of church. The father watches a train go past. The family leave their boarding house. The film ends with views from a railway carriage window.
