Local newsreel of Wisbech life on the busy streets and in some factories.

The film is shorter than the original version. There are scenes of the town and shops, and the market, some filmed from a moving vehicle. Part of a football match is featured. Workers leave the Balding and Mansell Fine Art Printers factory. One of the workers holds up a poster for a charity football match between Park Works and Watton United. The streets are crowded with shoppers and cyclists. There is a persistent delivery boy on a bike who follows the camera car. There are many informative glimpses of the fashions of the time. At the English Brothers Factory, workers make punnets for fruit. There are some fairground scenes, further street scenes and, finally, a Cup match between Wisbech Town and Lynn St. Nicholas.
