Amateur footage of a teacher and her pupils celebrating Wetherden Village School's centenary.
Outside the village school in Wetherden, a group of laughing children are chased by a school mistress waving a cane. They are all dressed in Victorian costume, including 'dunces' caps'. They join another group of children and sing the theme song of the centenary celebrations, 'Oh, dear, what can the matter be?' All the children are filmed in close-up.
