Promotional film for Obel Warehousing Ltd following daily operations at the site in Stanton.

A map of the region shows how the site, on part of the old Shepherd's Grove airfield, is at the centre of the area. There are views of Felixstowe terminal and container ships, Bayer and Bayer on a trading estate in Bury St Edmunds, Jeyes, Thermos and Travenol at Thetford, a mobile pea viner at Gislingham. The working day begins as Jack Burrows, the foreman, opens up, staff and lorries arrive and loads are processed. Fisons fertiliser is loaded, paper is stored and a Thermos load is put into storage. John Oates, one of the founding partners, opens letters and office sequences show the manual paperwork system in operation. There are numerous scenes of lorries loading and unloading, and packing sequences. Material is stored and security explained. Finally, warehouse construction, ferries at Felixstowe, Thetford shops and staff locking up Obel's at the end of the day.
