Newsreel showing the Royal Family on the Sandringham Estate as the gardens and golf course are given over to food production to support the war effort.

The HM King George VI, HM Queen Elizabeth and the Princesses Margaret and Elizabeth cycle round Sandringham Park. The lawns by the house have been ploughed up and turned over to the production of food. The King's golf course has been used to grow corn and there are vegetables in the flower beds. The Chief Executive Officer of the Norfolk War Agricultural Committee is present. The two princesses climb on to a Massey Harris combine working in one of the fields. The Queen watches and talks to a land girl. Finally, the Queen gets into a governess cart, takes the reins from Mr French, her groom, and drives off. The King and the Princesses follow on their bikes.
