Newsfilm promoting the leisurely delights of a cruising holiday on the Norfolk Broads
Three fashionable young women spend the day aboard the "Goldfinch Wroxham" on the Norfolk Broads. “And on the Norfolk Broads, too, that Mecca of the Water-loving sportswomen – Anything that sounds like “sale” always gets the girls together And when the wind gets fresher – just adjourn to the wider Wroxham Broads.” Wearing fashionable 1930’s dress the girls enjoy a mix of relaxation and physical activity. Preparing for the day ahead, picnicing on board, and playfighting in the water, are interspersed with scenes of excitement of preparing the boat for sail and cruising along the water.
