An advertisement for Case and Steward products, looking at free range, deep litter and battery methods of poultry keeping.

At the W.A. Crawford free range poultry farm in Carbrooke, raising methods are described and the feed is discussed. The birds, their coops, the egg collection and egg packing feature. At Case & Steward's own deep litter farm at Blofield, chopped straw is used as litter. Farming proceedure is described and egg collection is shown. Mr Daniels' battery houses at the farm in Hingham hold 2000 birds. There are shots of the buildings, the drinking troughs, the feeding of pellets and grain, and dropping clearance. In a field at Hartest, Suffolk, free range turkeys are feeding. There are shots of their night perches. More turkeys are seen on a farm in Hales, Norfolk. The birds are caged on the Case and Steward Blofield farm. Both black and white turkeys are featured.
