A brief portrait of an East Anglian market town, looking at the old and the new.
The village is established by the Needham Market village sign. A new retail estate on the outskirts of the village and street scenes follows. The village shops line the high street including the hardware store, the newsagents, Young's stores, and R.F. Cuttings the butcher. At the Post Office, people are attended to at the counter. Finally, views of the main street, the interior of the library, and the garage.
