An amateur film looking at trolley buses on the streets of Ipswich.
Shots of the docks and sail barges followed by trolley buses around the town. The trolley bus depot is shown; there is a vehicle fitted out for the maintenance of the overhead wires. There are shots of various street signs, and the entrance to Ipswich airport. A close-up of the overhead wires is followed by views of trolley buses on the street. Many of the buildings which feature in the background have since been demolished or altered.
